Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)

Raises the alkalinity, pH slightly, & is safe to use with most chemical spills. 15lbs per 100,000 gallons to raise total alkalinity 10 ppm. 1.62 gallons of muriatic acid lower alkalinity 100,000 gallons of water 10 ppm. We suggest keeping a 80ppm level, unless PULSAR Briquettes are used as a means of chlorination. If so, keep the alkalinity close to 60ppm. 100ppm is the highest level we suggest. To high of a alkalinity could subject the water to cloudy conditions if the pH isn’t kept between 7.2 and 7.4. (50lb bag)
